Travel Nurse RN - CVICU in Dayton, OH

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** CVICU **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours **Experience:** Minimum 1 year CVICU experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience preferred **License:** Any state RN license accepted; can apply for a temporary license **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; experience with EPIC required **Must-Have:** - Ability to pass an online EKG/telemetry competency assessment - Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs **Job Description:** - Suitable for first-time travelers - Open to the possibility of block scheduling - Must work every other weekend and holiday - Targeted patient ratios are 1:2 - Must be able to read and interpret strips - Floating may be required to support nursing care teams at different campuses - Managers will review applications with all requests and availability clearly stated - Required to wear navy blue scrubs - Requests for time off should be submitted with the initial application - Up to 14 days off is allowed, but cannot be added to the contract's end - Completion of lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of contract signing is necessary - Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only Candidates interested in applying should possess strong clinical skills and adaptability for floating between units when necessary.
