Job Description R D Circuits is a member company of Advantest America, Inc., which is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years, R D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry. The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree in accounting and have prior experience in overseeing operational accounting, general ledger activities, including month-end close, and preparation of financial statements in a large manufacturing setting while following established guidelines. The Assistant Controller will collaborate with other team members, internally and externally, to ensure the Company's monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closings are executed in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. The position is responsible for analyzing and reconciling all general ledger accounts, supporting daily treasury activities, and completing special projects as requested. JOB DESCRIPTION Supervise, review, and finalize month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including all supporting documentation. Prepare/review monthly reconciliations of pertinent general ledger and all company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain up-to-date financial schedules including company properties, fixed assets, and intercompany balances. Implement strict internal controls to ensure full compliance of all accepted accounting principles. Prepare monthly schedules and financial reports for management review and analysis. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial work papers, including company external audits. Track CAPEX and the spending of company foreign locations. Special projects as assigned. Requirements Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA professional certification a strong plus. Ability to interact well with US Parent and meet stringent closing deadlines. Intercompany accounting and consolidation of related entities. Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and follow through skills. Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong proficiency in Excel ( Sumifs, Vlookups, Pivot and Power Pivot tables). Prior experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite in a manufacturing environment. Thorough understanding of inventory costing. Ability to communicate cost accounting impact on financial statements to internal stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Must maintain confidentiality of data.
