SummaryThe Retail HVAC Tech is responsible for managing day-to-day facility operations across a growing number of regulated cannabis dispensary (retail) locations. This position is responsible for directing the work on all physical and mechanical aspects of the facilities, including, but not limited to, routine maintenance, emergency after hours calls, facility security, and establishing and maintaining service contracts. Develops facility maintenance schedules, oversees the ordering of maintenance supplies, schedules vendors, all within operational budget.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee maintenance of facility and equipment to achieve optimal performance regarding uptime, downtime, availability and utilizationDevelop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for techs and vendorsImplement and oversee usage of software for work orders, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and project scheduling.Review data to implement corrective measures or suggest equipment upgrades to minimize equipment and operational downtime.Schedule and prioritize tasks to ensure minimal equipment and business downtimeConduct routine safety inspections of facilities, including ensuring all equipment is certified safe and effectively used, tracked and maintained to manufacturer standardsMinimum RequirementsA minimum of 3 years management experience with a facilities maintenance focusKnowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, electrical, and building systemsAbility to manage multiple projects at onceAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematicsExcellent data collection, results interpretation, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced computer knowledge, including MS OfficeAbility to work independently and in a continually changing environmentAt least 21 years of age.Must be able to obtain medical marijuana badges across multiple states and pass a background check at time of application.Physical Requirements: The ability to lift 50 pounds. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The ability to see, hear and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly. The ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The ability to complete fine motor functions. Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushpull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity. Exposure to limited hazardous chemical.
