Description GrowthPoint Technology Partners is a leading boutique technology investment bank in San Francisco looking for a talented individual to join us as an Investment Banking Vice President. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven investment banking candidate who enjoys technology and has two or more years working as an Investment Banking Senior Associate or Vice President with early stage, venture-backed, technology companies. We expect a successful candidate to have graduated from an MBA program. This candidate is expected to show a willingness to take on a variety of assignments and be flexible as to work responsibilities. Initially, the position will be split roughly 50/50 between analytical and client management requirements although we would expect the client engagement management component to grow over time. Essential Job Functions Leading and executing the marketing and execution of mandates Developing industry, market sector and company research and analysis Preparing company presentations and other client materials Developing financial and valuation models Interfacing with clients on a regular basis Calling investors or acquirers Managing due diligence for the firm's clients Managing transactions (M&A, valuations, private placements) and supporting senior deal team Supervising Analysts and Associates Areas of focus for the firm include all areas of technology, encompassing infrastructure and security software, HR tech, enterprise software, storage, semiconductor, systems and communications technologies, mobile, and gaming. Prerequisites & Qualifications BA/BS degree from a top tier university is preferred Six+ years working in investment banking SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 required Record of academic excellence with proven leadership ability Ability to work independently Demonstrated knowledge of technology and finance Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment Strong client focus and relationship management skills Very strong financial modeling/valuation skills are essential Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal Resourcefulness, energy, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Please do not contact individual employees of GrowthPoint for this role and complete the application instructions provided in this listing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
