Position Overview The Product Owner for the Vendor Marketplace is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, feature definition and ticket management for all integrated vendors on the LauraMac platform. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver a best-in-class vendor marketplace experience, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of both vendors and customers while driving business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the vendor marketplace, including ease of adding vendors to the marketplace. Drive adoption of current vendor marketplace. Gather and incorporate feedback from vendors and customers to continuously improve the marketplace experience. Implementation Support Assist implementation team with setup/configuration of vendors for new clients. Feature Development and Delivery: Lead the development process from concept to release, ensuring features are delivered on time and within scope. Ensure features meet user needs and business goals through thorough testing and validation. Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog and defect list for vendor integrations, assisting with requirements, mapping, configuration as needed. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, customer support, and finance, to ensure the marketplace platform is being used to its capacity and being developed to its capacity. Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the marketplace platform. Compliance and Risk Management: Oversight of vendor contracting process, draft and review contracts. Oversight of vendor invoicing and payment process. Ensure the marketplace platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the platform, including security, privacy, and operational risks. Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor relationship management and vendor integration management, or equivalent experience. Mortgage experience with subject matter expertise preferred in: Third party due diligence Secondary marketing/mortgage trading or correspondent operations Document recognition and data extraction Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
