In the role ofa Financial Assistant II you will beworking in the Cancer Center CTO Activiation Team. Purpose Monitor and reconcile various clinical research study accounts and assist in the processing of study activation materials and preparation of financial statements and annual budgets. Primary Functions Prepare and compose correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other documents using basic and more advanced functions of computer applications and software packages including OnCore, MCW's Clinical Trial Management System. Ensure all study activation materials are received in a timely fashion from study sponsor. Process, track, and submit study confidentiality agreements. Initiate and track all study calendar requests. Initiate, track and process all Principal Investigator Amendment processing of significant financial interest forms. Intake new studies, assignment to external vendor, initiation of eBridge funding proposal. Prepare preaward account requests in eBridge. Completion of Payee Forms. Status tracking of projects/agreements related to the preaward team. Prepares and keeps financial and business transactions data up-to-date and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records. Prepares, records, and verifies information. Calculates, posts, and processes transactions and other clerical finance related support. Perform a variety of routine accounting tasks. Interact with faculty/staff on agency spending policies and procedures. Assist in preparing semi-monthly financial statements. Assist in preparing the annual budget. Coordinate special projects as needed. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management. Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. Preferred Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Position Requirements: Specifications Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: High school diploma Minimum Required Experience: 2 years Why MCW?
