Job Title Director of Software Development What does a successful Director of Software Development do at Fiserv? You will lead a delivery team that is building the Commerce Hub platform. You will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to improve the operational performance of product development team. Built to deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations, the Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified API's, and pre-certified integrations, the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market. What you will do: Lead a team of developers and manage their motivations while providing best-in-class experience to internal and external clients on reported incidents Drive process improvement initiatives across the organization to increase productivity, reduce client impacting defects, and ensure good quality fixes and no recurrence of issues Participate in production deployments and set up a cadence to perform post implementation validations to ensure zero deployment impacts to live clients What you will need to have: 15+ years of experience in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Spring framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO) and Spring Boot 10+ years of experience in leading/managing a team 5+ years of experience working in the payments domain 5+ years of experience in stakeholder management and managing production defects 5+ years of experience in implementing complex full stack solutions including digital and mobile systems, API, and Micro-Services in large enterprise organizations Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience What would be great to have: Experience in PCF, or related cloud platform and API Management Experience using quality and security scan tools such as Sonar, Fortify and Web Inspect Experience in Integration Testing APIs with Postman and JMeter Experience in implementing high volume transaction processing applications and Agile methodology experience Important info about this role: We're better together!
