Job Summary: The Marketing Assistant will work with the Marketing team to support the commercial division sales teams and internal support staff to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with product photoshoots including, but not limited to, making sure all material needed for the shoot has been ordered and on location, installation of product at the photoshoot. Following the photoshoot, make sure all product is returned to appropriate location. Assist with managing product material for scans, including but not limited to, pulling material, arranging for the material to be sent to our outside vendor for scanning, and issuing the purchase order. Assist with creating sample labels for all new product launches and reprints as needed. Assist with keeping the commercial brand websites updated. Frequently review websites to make sure information is accurate and all documents displayed on the website are current and accurate. Assist with managing the purchase of professional project photography and making sure it is updated on the website. Also upload all non-professional project photography on Sales Source. Assist with keeping Sales Source updated with current product and installation photography, brochures, presentations, etc. Assist with all proofing needs including, but not limited to, website pages and documents to make sure all information is accurate and up to date, product brochures, product portfolios, product launch support items. Assist with the updating of documents including, but not limited to, installation documents, warranty documents and any other technical documents needed. Manage the printing of business cards for sales reps and internal staff, including picking up cards from the printer and delivering to sample department for shipping. Assist with managing tradeshows including, but not limited to, local sales rep shows, packing of tradeshow crates, and assisting as needed with national tradeshows. Assist with taking items from the marketing department down to samples for shipping. Includes, but not limited to promo items, samples, tradeshow items. Assist with CEU administration as needed. Assist with new sales rep training as needed. Assist with issuing purchase orders and receiving in purchase orders. Experience/Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Preference given to applicants with college course work or other formal training related to business, communications, marketing or sales. One or more years of experience in a sales or marketing support role to include significant external customer contact with people at all levels of an organization. Good communication skills. Must have good writing and grammar skills, and the ability to proofread. Must be well organized and self-motivated. Must have PC computer experience and be proficient in the following programs: Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop CC and other Adobe CC apps, and Outlook. Must be energetic and enthusiastic; eager to support needs of the field sales team including Sales Reps, Regional Vice Presidents and VP of Sales, and all internal departments. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work under tight deadlines. Must be able to adapt to change eagerly and positively. Other Requirements: Lifting is required of weights up to 20 lbs. Stooping and/or reaching are required. Computer keyboard entry and computer monitor viewing are required up to 8 hours a day. Overtime is needed as required.
