Position Overview The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting Systems will be an action oriented, trusted leader who has experience around financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for CRH Americas Materials, Inc. (AMAT). The Senior Financial Reporting Manager should have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence team performance towards a common strategic solution. Their primary responsibilities will be to lead and collaborate with Finance professionals across AMAT to create a leading Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting environment leveraging Oracle EPM and other technologies. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and the ability to use technology effectively in financial reporting and planning. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Establish and communicate the end-to-end vision for the EPM implementation for all Operating Companies, ensuring alignment with AMAT financial leadership Ensure ERP and EPM solutions operate in tandem in AMAT's financial environment Oversee the design, implementation and development of standard processes while being the lead to drive the change Responsible for maintenance and improvement of business processes in the financial reporting environment Accountable for overall EPM program delivery, ensuring enterprise-wide alignment, successful implementation and adoption Accountable for all program issues and risks, driving the implementation team to proactively resolve and escalate concerns when necessary. Manage multiple projects and initiatives while balancing the monthly mandatory reporting cycles Effectively communicate with stakeholders and leadership, providing regular status updates while managing expectations Review & address changes in project scope, participating in key working sessions to update/finalize project requirements & deliverables Manages conflict by facilitating conversations with key decision makers Intervenes as needed to remove obstacles and roadblocks Ensure alignment of financial reporting and forecasting with organizational goals and strategies Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and compliance with regulatory requirements Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions that drive operational efficiency Stay updated on emerging financial technologies and best practices to maintain AMAT's competitive edge Other duties as required by management Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration. 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in a large, complex organization Minimum 10+ years of financial leadership work experience with a proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant financial reporting regulations Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) Expertise in Oracle EPM or other financial planning and reporting systems Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data Work Requirements Must be 18 years in age or older Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required Knowledge/Skill Requirements Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and consolidation processes Expertise in financial reporting processes and the ability to interpret complex financial data Ability to work across departments (Finance, IT, Operations, etc.) to ensure alignment of financial strategies Proficiency with Oracle EPM or similar enterprise performance management tools Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software (such as Hyperion, SAP) Experience in Financial Reporting transformation projects, leading the Finance business leaders and users to standard efficient, timely and accurate results. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, leading the organization to adopt "fit for purpose" solutions using the Oracle EPM software and functionality Demonstrate leadership experience with Financial Reporting, specifically with month end close, budgeting and forecasting Act as a solution-oriented consensus builder, effective communicator, and trusted partner across the organization to build an effective team driven towards the same end goal Proven track record in successfully leading a team Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
