We're actively seeking a talented Sr Accounting Specialist to join our Corporate Accounts Payable Team in Newport Beach, CA. The Sr Accounting Specialist provides direct support for processing vendor invoices and payments for Pacific Life Insurance Company and Subsidiaries. We're actively seeking a talentedAccounts Payable Specialist IIto join ourteamin Newport Beach, CA. This role will be hybrid. How you'll help move us forward: Monitor AP mailboxes, Payment Requests and our SharePoint site Monitor process flow of SharePoint site Maintenance of Vendor Accounting Information Enter/upload information in Speedcharts Review and process payment requests Handling and coding for invoices received Provides support to all assigned departments and divisions invoice processing Manages Voucher Types when processing Invoice matching to Purchase Orders Review open purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the purchasing agent Match receiving invoices to authorized purchase orders and review accuracy of charges Reconcile differences with the purchasing agent and/or vendor Answer and respond to phone and email requests, as necessary Record Taxes Monitor Approval Notifications and Treasury Payment Query (CCPNC) Corporate Billings Upload Master Tax File Accounting Review/QC vouchers Monitor Approval Workflow Process Improvement Maintain Desktop process guides Document common pain points to discuss solution ideas Participate in applicable training Maintain communication with Management and with Team mates The experience you bring: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business related major 4+ years of relevant experience Software: Coupa, PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite You can be who you are. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
