This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Urgent Care LPN Details and Compensation: Location: 100% on site Payrate: $33.79/hr Required Availability: Days, 7-10 hours per day | 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours May require floating to other nearby locations A typical work week will be two or three weekdays and every other weekend. This position also requires working on some major holidays. Urgent Care LPN Responsibilities: This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention sexually transmitted infection STI Prevention and safer sex practices. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services Administer immunizations and injections to include but not limited to COVID19 influenza TB and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. bull Assess patients during intake Take vital signs Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG Retinopathy screening Perform Point of care testing including COVID testing Perform patient registration and intake assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
