We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work for our client in Pomona, CA. Pay rate: $38.50 - $43.25/hr. (Depending on experience) Schedule: 1st shift Mechanical Engineer responsibilities: Utilize Solid Edge and AutoCAD software to create mechanical drawings and BOMs. Develop layout concepts for equipment design. Perform basic engineering calculations and hardware sizing (motors, gearboxes, cylinders, etc.) for custom conveyors, ovens, fryers, and other material handling equipment in the tortilla food industry. Complete compliance checklists to ensure equipment meets specifications. Write technical manuals for new equipment. Prepare mechanical drawings, BOMs, and submit to Sales, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Purchasing. Qualified candidates will have five years of related experience.
