Scrub Technician

Position: Full-time Duties: Provide clinical surgical scrubbing services for procedures in the operating room, including but not limited to Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, and more. Prepare sterile fields, maintain sterile conditions during procedures, and handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment such as microscopes, lasers, and laparoscopic tools. Assist the surgical team by anticipating the needs of the surgeon, managing supplies, positioning patients, and ensuring all surgical materials are accounted for. Requirements: 2 years of experience in a busy operating room with exposure to complex surgical cases. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and, ideally, certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist. Proven ability to maintain a sterile environment, adhere to infection control standards, and respond to critical situations in surgery.
