Per Diem Research Intern Apply now Job no: Work type: Part-Time Location: University City - Philadelphia, PA Categories: Drexel University, Dornsife School of Public Health Job Summary The per diem Research Intern will work with Dr. Amy Carroll-Scott and collaborators to write and submit a manuscript focused on the experiences of community residents of West Philadelphia who worked with Drexel School of Public Health as part of the West Philly Promise Neighborhood survey team. Essential Functions Literature reviews. Qualitative coding. Code summaries. Graphic summary of qualitative results. Citation and reference management. Assist with manuscript writing and preparation for submission. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications A master's degree in public health or a related field is required. A minimum of 1 year of directly related experience is required. Literature review skills and familiarity with web and literature search terms and logic are required. Proficient using Microsoft Office, NVivo, Zoom. Qualitative coding experience. Preferred Qualifications Commitment to community-engaged research. Strong writing skills. Collaborative approach to work. Ability to work remotely, independently, while keeping collaborators up to date on progress. Location University City - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This is a part-time, per diem position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
