The Quality Manager is responsible for the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production and service consistent with established standards. Oversees the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy. Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs. Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems. The Quality Manager is responsible for site compliance certifications and regulations. Partnering with Operations and Engineering, the individual will have responsibility for all product certifications and certification applications. The Quality Manager will create new processes for certification maintenance, drive company awareness of changes to certification and country regulations, lead communications with certification and regulatory bodies, and facilitate audits necessary to maintain certification. This position requires high attention to detail and organizational skills with the capability and desire to be continuously engaged with the Team to drive projects to completion. The Quality Manager will seek opportunities to reduce the total cost and complexity of the Dynisco portfolio of certifications, while driving initiatives. Essential Job Functions Experience managing a Quality System certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Experience as a Management Representative for ISO certifications Proven track record applying for and maintaining product hazardous approvals (explosion proof, flame proof, intrinsic safety) in various area-related product certifications [USA, Canada, Europe (ATEX, IECEx), Asia (NEPSI, KTL), etc.] Ability to understand and drive company leadership of compliance for Substances of Very High Concern (ROHS, REACH, SCIP, CA Prop 65, IMERC, etc.) Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate information from technical drawings (2D/3D CAD and PCB layout experience a plus). Committed to stay current on changes to applicable regulations and standards. Proven experience to plan for and adapt to changes and drive effective action to remediate risks to compliance. Maintain all Controlled Document Lists (CDL) for various agencies and manage revisions as necessary. Create templates and process documents for product approvals, integrating with other business processes as appropriate. Seek opportunities to streamline product approvals and audit requirements related to product certifications. Responsible for designing, implementing, and tracking quality KPIs. Responsible for all audits (internal, 3rd party, customer, and registrar) Effectively control Engineering Change Order (ECO) and drive multiple changes to closure. Create, prepare and maintain Quality System documents and records. Hire, train and supervise 2-4 employees. Manage training record management platform Travel 10% may be required. Required Education and Experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering or other related technical discipline. 5-7 years of experience as a Quality Manager within manufacturing or capital equipment manufacturer, working directly with customers to resolve current or potential quality concerns. Background in electromechanical assembly a plus. Superior communications skills, both verbal and written. Proven experience planning and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines & work objectives. Effective quantitative ability, exceptional organizational (records) talent and analytical skills. Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.) and manufacturing software Routine participation leading and working with cross functional teams, with exceptional ability to influence peers on project tasks and communicate progress to leadership team.
