Description Job Title: Account Manager Territory Includes: McAllen, Laredo, Harlingen, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Phar, Victoria, and The Valley, Texas. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to drive sales and generate leads. In this role you will be responsible for growing our customer and manufacturer base, generating revenue, and building meaningful working partnerships. Our Account Managers work closely with our Inside Sales team to provide world-class customer service and value for which the Hugh M. Cunningham Companies are known. Must have a proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships. Job Duties and Responsibility: Travel throughout assigned territory to develop new business from existing customers and actively seek new sales opportunities from prospective customers. Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships. Work diligently to identify leads, educate prospects on products through calls, meetings, demonstrations, and provide existing customers with exceptional support. Track all sales activities in company's reporting system and keep current by updating account information regularly. Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments to facilitate customer's needs and provide timely resolutions. Display and demonstrate products and their features. Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. Identify and resolve customer concerns. Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows. Requirements Experience in any of the following: Plumbing, HVAC, Fire and Water Works, Irrigation Excellent verbal and written communication Effective closing skills Motivation for sales Exceptional organizational skills Bi-lingual preferred (Speaking/ reading/ writing Spanish) a plus Ability to organize and prioritize customer visits, along with excellent follow-up and follow-through Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills Ability to travel within territory daily Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient in the use of technology (computer/ tablet). Familiar with mobile applications. Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred. Must have 3 to 5 years Outside Sales experience in related industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient in the use of technology (computer/ tablet). Familiar with mobile applications
