DescriptionThis role is designed to drive quality and compliance programs to support either day and/or evening shift, operations, depending on which shift the QI is assigned. The person will work with the quality initiatives related to Cannabis plants and products as well as support day to day compliance systems. Please note:This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances. We recommend that applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities consult with a healthcare professional before applying for this position.2 POSITIONS- 2 SHIFTS * TUESDAY - FRIDAY 7AM - 5:15 PM* MONDAY - THURSDAY or TUESDAY - FRIDAY 12PM - 10:15PMESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for ensuring GMP Standards, MCA Compliance, Quality policies and procedures are adhered to. Write, update, and maintain SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Quality Assurance Program related to Manufacturing. Participate in root cause analysis for Manufacturing quality outages. Support training for line operators to ensure process checks are accurate. Approve standard work for cells prior to production. 100% execution of daily tasks, projects & objectives. Inspection of finished product packaging before release to the vault. Inspect and complete master batch records for quality and completion. Identify coaching and training needs to meet quality standardsRequirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
