Software Engineer - Mid to Senior, C, Embedded, Full Product Life Cycle, Work OnsiteOne of our clients needs a passionate Software Engineer who can think outside the box to find new and better ways to design quality electrical products. Someone with a strong drive who's drawn to creative problem solving and to the challenges of designing prototypes and improving existing products. As a member of the technical team, you'll work on projects from concept to manufacturing release. Participating in various projects in an R&D environmentDeveloping engineering prototypes and production designs from concept through manufacturing releaseDeveloping embedded software using the C programming languageDesign and implement properly documented, reliable software that ensures safe and proper execution of microprocessor andor GUI-based productssystems.Designing and developing microprocessor andor DSP-based electronic products and systemsParticipating in hardwaresoftware integration efforts for multiple system componentsWhat skillsexperience do you need? B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer ScienceMid-level to senior-level experience in embedded software developmentProficiency in programming with C languageExperience with software design, test, and verification techniquesExperience with microprocessor products, including concept, design, testing, verification, integration, documentation, etcStrong problem-solving skills in software designWhat will make your résumé stand out?Exposure to ethernet and microprocessorDSP-based productsExperience with one or more RTOSsExperience with Assembly (e.g., ARM9)Experience with GUI development, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSSExperience with GIT or similar toolsBackground working with diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc)Knowledge of DO-178C andor FAA spec requirementsLocation: Addison, TX, 100% onsiteRelocation: Will assistCitizenship: U.S. Citizens or Permanent ResidentsSalary: 90k - 125k + Bonus & 401k (4% match)
