Sales Promotion Assistant - Onsite$18 to $25hr.Responsibilities:Translate sake label description from Japanese into English on Microsoft Word and upload to share folderAssist in converting information: Look up label size; convert label size from mm to inch.Upload processing formula as well as ingredients list to TTB (Tabacco Tax Bureau) formula online application and send lab analysis samples.Upload label images to TTB (Tabacco Tax Bureau) COLA (Certificate of Label ApprovalExemption) online applicationRecord TTB ID as well as formula ID and monitor formula expiry dateMonitor inventory of alcohol beverages and requestforecast purchasing department to issue purchasing orders as needed.Support Sales team by preparing sample pick-list and other material for events.Design, create, and maintain all sales promotional materials, including but not limited to monthly newsletters, product brochures, and menu lists, in coordination with related departments for seamless creation of promotion materials.Plan, create, maintain, and update social media content to attract customers and enhance impressions.Plan, manage, execute, and prepare all materials for campaigns, in-house tasting, and sales events.Manage and organize promotional materials from manufactures; distribute them to the sales teamCount inventory when the inventory numbers are inconsistent with the numbers reported by warehouse.Assist with annual Food Expo preparationsAttend Company events and functions outside of normal working hoursOther duties as required by department managerPhysical Requirements:Able to sit and work in an office setting for the majority of the dayAble to use the computer and type for extended periodsAble to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyWorking ConditionsNoise Level: Normal to loud while in the officeOther Requirements:Business level English - Readwritespeaklisten requiredBusiness level Japanese - Readwritespeaklisten preferredMaintain a positive attitudeAble to work independently and as a teamAble to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workloadPasse the Sake Adviser course within 1 year of employmentHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in business preferred2+ years of purchasing experience preferredKnowledge and Skills:Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detailPossess basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.Has strong customer service and problem-solving skillsHas strong communications and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate basic Microsoft Office proficiencyCommunications and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of ERP systems, especially AS400, highly preferredKnowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred
