Description: The Griff Network located in Fallsington, PA is looking for a full time Packer. The Packaging Operator work as part of the finished product rewinding team and is responsible to final inspect, label and package products in accordance with packaging procedure. Performing work safely, according to quality requirements, as per production schedule following standardized work procedures. Maintaining the work area in accordance with the 5S program and help to continually improve the safety, quality, and productivity of the area. This position will report to the Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities Wear required PPE & follow all standard operating procedure to ensure safety, quality & productivity Report safety concerns to Supervisor and participate & support our safety program Inspect & maintain production area according to 5S program Perform first-off inspection to ensure product conforms to the packaging requirements and standards for the product being packaged. All information can be found on "Job Traveller". Ensure correct labels are applied, pallet is prepared to standard, product packaged to standardized work procedures. Responsible for the quality of products being packaged and continually inspect the material being produced and inform machine operator of any defects Use strapping & other relevant hand tools to package products Complete production records, material reports with correct information as required Monitor supplies and inform Supervisor or Lead Hand when materials are running low Keep the area constantly clean; pick-up materials and put into appropriate waste baskets; bale materials for processing Qualifications and Accreditations English communication skills - verbal and written Experience Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others Familiar with safety regulations in industrial manufacturing facilities Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment considered an asset Previous experience using hand tools Competencies Positive attitude with excellent organizational skills Quick learner and inquisitive Able to lift 50 lbs 12 Hour shifts Day or Nights, 3 On 4 Off Powered by JazzHR
