Essity B 276.9 (+0.1 SEK) on 24-Jun-2024 17:29 In the role of a Demand Planner, you will oversee, facilitate, and manage the sales forecasting and demand management for designated customers or segments. Additionally, you are tasked with ensuring the accuracy of sales demand within the S&OP and IBP processes. Your responsibilities include conducting the monthly Local Demand Review Meetings (DRM) with the Sales & Marketing and Controlling teams, guaranteeing that the statistical forecast is effectively augmented with market insights to foster business growth and sustain a service level in accordance with the Business Unit's objectives. You will be based in the Legnano (MI) office and will report to the Demand Planning Manager. We operate under a hybrid work mode. What You Will Do Enrich the foundational statistical forecast with precise, up-to-date market intelligence data. Lead the execution of the local S&OP process and facilitate the monthly Demand Review Meetings. Serve as the local liaison to the central demand planning hub, adhering to global demand planning process frameworks. Utilize historical substitution and agreed-upon modelling/scenario planning techniques to generate new product forecasts in collaboration with Marketing and Category Management. Provide mid and long-term volume demand projections to facilitate accurate data availability for long-term capacity management during the 3-year plan review alongside Sales & Marketing and Controlling. Establish, analyze, and distribute monthly KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Cover Days, Slow Movers, and obsolescence risks. Conduct monthly gap analyses between forecasted and actual orders/demand to develop corrective action plans. Manage the phase-in/phase-out of innovations, ensuring effective communication with Brand Managers, Sales, Customer Service, and IDCs for precise volume demand and product availability. Comprehend the impact of customer buying patterns on demand planning. Participate in local sales and marketing meetings pertinent to demand planning. Maintain ongoing communication with Customer Service and the Sales department to understand market and customer ordering behaviors and the effects of internal and external demand changes. Who you are University or business school graduate, preferably with an engineering background. 2 to 5 years of experience in Demand Planning. Proficient in forecasting systems like SAP APO or equivalent. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, capable of executing Macros and Pivot Tables. Willingness to travel within Europe ( 20%) Skilled in utilizing SAP for Demand Planning, including transactions and Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO). Skilled in using SAP BI and Excel for reporting, analysis, and decision-making support. Able to maintain Master Data in SAP DP/APO. Proactive and results-oriented.
