Field Engineer

The Field Engineer is responsible for supervision, time, safety, material and tools. The Field Engineer is responsible for general support of the Assistant Superintendent and the Superintendent. The Field Engineer supports the Assistant Superintendent in a specific part of the project and is responsible for safety, overall coordination, and the use and care of tools within that area of responsibility. The Field Engineer reports functionally to the Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and administratively to the Director of Field Operations. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the construction industry. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Construction safety knowledge Site logistics coordination Site layout and stake out (line & grade) Subcontractor coordination and look-ahead scheduling Site daily reporting process Quality control process Subcontract administration and enforcement Read and interpret project CPM schedule Submittal and RFI review and interpretation
