Our Early Childhood MH Consultation program works with early education, care, out of school programs & families to respond to the social-emotional, behavioral & mental health needs of children. Early assessment, through classroom observations, standardized tools & family meetings, facilitates the implementation of strategies that aim to improve social-emotional development. Strengthening the collaboration between parents & childcare providers ensures the best results for children in the home & school environments. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain positive relationships with childcare programs and families Provide behavior coaching on site at childcare programs/family child care homes for young children with challenging behaviors Provide support and modeling regarding behavior management strategies Provide support, training, and resources regarding classroom management techniques Assist in the development and implementation of individual behavior support plans Access resources to appropriately answer questions and provide guidance to staff and parents Provide information, written resources, and referral information to assigned cases Schedule: Monday through Friday (9am-5pm or 8am-4pm) Eliot is committed to identifying and dismantling barriers that prevent people with marginalized racial identities from actualizing their full employment potential, assuming leadership roles, or from fully engaging at all levels in the workplace. Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better in Psychology or related field.
