There is an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer I (salary exempt position) based at the ENF Irvine Plant, however, from time to time you may be assigned to the Corry/Warren Plants. These job functions are not intended to be an all-encompassing list of duties: Manufacturing process development and improvements Standardizing work instructions and detailed control plans for semi-finished and finished parts Manufacturing Evaluation and Optimization (Manufacturing Flow, Routings, Coordination with Tooling and Programming) LEAN coordination and implementation throughout facility, focusing on set-up reduction, tooling and fixturing. Gage identification, procurement, design and implementation Facilitate the manufacturing design process, including design review and route review meetings. Leading the contract review process for new item assessment and processing. Working with sales to quote machining hours and tooling costs. As well as any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business needs. Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function. MNIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year BS Degree in a related Engineering discipline (preferred Mechanical or Industrial engineering degree), 2 - 5 years of manufacturing experience.
