Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Our Lady of Mercy in Guilderland 3 days a week 7.5 hours per day + weekends and holidays rotations Do you enjoy the aging population? Are you energetic & enthusiastic? Would you enjoy assisting with preparing activities, including set-up and clean-up? Position Highlights: Our team: caring, compassionate people of all ages who have a special spot in their hearts for seniors What you will do: The primary responsibility of the Activities Assistant is to assist with the events, activities and social programs planned for residents on our Memory Care Unit A qualified candidate would have: HSD/GED Experience with the dementia population preferred. Open-minded and willing to learn Energetic and enthusiastic with positive attitude Willingness to drive 13 passenger van Recreation experience preferred, but not required Must be compassionate, dedicated and willing to lead group activities and supervise volunteers Pay Range:$16.20 - $23.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
