Fuss & O'Neill is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in the headquarters office in Manchester, CT. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and management of bridge engineering projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects while contributing to the growth and success of our firm. Let's see what we can create together! Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from concept to completion. Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and standards. Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction professionals. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers. Stay updated on advancements in bridge engineering technology and contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering Typically requires 10+ years of structural engineering experience, bridge engineering is must! Previous supervisory and project management experience required Experience with DOT and municipal bridge design Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and Revit; Microsoft Word and Excel required Technical experience with structural analysis and design software such as RAM Structual System, RISA-3D, Visual Analysis and EnerCalc preferred Professional Engineering License (P.E.) required; structural licensure is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences Benefits At Fuss & O'Neill you can expect a competitive base salary and award-winning benefits.
