This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Project Leaders are expected to put in a minimum of 8 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 24 hours. STW(tm) welcomes volunteers who are seeking skill-based volunteering opportunity. STW(tm) shall provide a "letter of recommendation" for professionals who demonstrate outstanding contribution for professional references. SUMMARY:Support the Human Resources Group by managing a team of volunteers in the area of recruiting and processing. Responsible for communications with volunteer candidates, including sending and requesting applications, conducting interviews, and processing new hires. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs, develops, and maintains the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps). Update and manage the required documents and spreadsheets. Responsible for maintaining accurate candidate files, including resumes, applications, and signed documents required for new hires. Conducts job interviews for managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization). Manage on average 4-6 volunteers within the Recruiting & Processing Team, holding them accountable for their work Plan and conduct bi-weekly recruiting team meetings, including sending agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up. Ensuring tracking documents are being filled out properly and regularly. Ensure emails to the general inbox are being checked, responded to, and sorted properly within 24 hours. Assisting the team as required with the following: Responsible for communications with volunteer candidates, including sending and requesting applications, conducting interviews, and processing new hires Checks general email daily for new emails from candidates and maintains an organized system for filing emails Provide a monthly report of your team's progress to the President and Vice President. Attend monthly human resources meetings. EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Apps. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. HR experience with leadership, job interviewing, and negotiation skills. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Eagerness to continuously learn and develop business acumen. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
