Work under the guidance of a senior project engineer to assist with the following project specific tasks: Design subdivision, land development, and public improvements projects and prepare plans using AutoCAD software. Prepare stormwater management plans, calculations, and reports. Prepare soil erosion and sediment pollution control plans. Prepare construction specifications and improvements cost estimates. Prepare municipal review and regulatory agency permit applications. Review plans for compliance with subdivision and land development and zoning ordinances for private and municipal clients. Other responsibilities as assigned. Attend meetings with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies alongside senior project engineers. Develop knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to successfully take on increased project responsibilities and advance your career within KCE. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor of Science Degree from an ABET accredited school in engineering. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Professional Licensing: PE preferred, EIT accepted. Understanding of subdivision and land development planning and zoning ordinances and approval procedures. Knowledge of regulatory agency permitting processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with industry-standard stormwater modeling software. Personable and self-motivated.
