Overview ... The RCI (relentless continuous improvement) Manager is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and driving a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. The Opportunity ... Responsibilities: Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement across various departments. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Process Analysis and Optimization: Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve quality. Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive process optimization. Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Develop and deliver training programs to build continuous improvement capabilities within the organization. Mentor and support employees in the application of continuous improvement techniques. Project Management: Manage multiple continuous improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Monitor project progress, track performance, and report on outcomes. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and present reports on continuous improvement activities, performance, and outcomes. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for further improvement. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to drive continuous improvement. Engage with stakeholders to gain support and buy-in for continuous improvement initiatives. Sustainability and Standardization: Ensure that improvements are sustainable and standardized across the organization. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain improvements. Continuously review and update SOPs to reflect best practices. Why work at JBT ... Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or a related role. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Proven track record of leading and managing continuous improvement projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and continuous improvement tools.
