Key Responsibilities: Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Sr. Electrical Engineer to support the Supply Chain Engineering team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. This role will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining Tropicana's extensive electrical utility infrastructure. This individual will oversee projects related to obsolescence, reliability, and future expansion. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional Responsibilities: Development of capital projects including the overall scope, budget, and schedule Development of bid packages and written scopes of work Project Management and Contractor Management Review Electrical Designs and Drawings Specify and recommend Electrical Equipment and Components Enforce applicable NEC standards & Tropicana Standards Understand and enforce machine safety standards for process, packaging, and warehouse equipment. Support all other capital project managers with execution of electrical scopes of work. Oversee engineering studies and manage installation contractors Update and Revise Tropicana Engineering Standards Assist the plant operations and maintenance team with troubleshooting activities as needed. Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies. Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels Requirements: Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering Must be located in Bradenton, FL or willing to relocate to Bradenton, FL for the duration of employment Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power transmission systems & utility infrastructure Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives Strong project management skills, with a focus on schedule and budget adherence Role Overview: Provide Electrical Engineering expertise for Tropicana Brands Group. This individual will support all manufacturing and warehouse sites within the Supply Chain Network. Execute standalone capital projects that focus on electrical infrastructure upgrades and obsolescence. Assist other project managers (process, packaging, or building) with execution of electrical scopes of work. Ideal Experience: The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working with medium voltage power 480V and 4160V or other medium voltage equivalents. The individual must have practical hands-on experience with aged equipment, large facilities, and complex electrical infrastructure. In addition to medium power systems, the best candidate will also possess some level of controls systems knowledge, with the ability to take on controls system projects for expansion or obsolescence.
