You'll be joining a Quality team of three at this facility, where the atmosphere is relaxed and approachable. Job Description Qualify and approve potential suppliers and components through activities such as Potential Supplier Audits (PSA), business case evaluations, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Interim Recovery Worksheet (IRW), Process Audits (PA), and Program Reviews (PR). Support new program launches with Technical Reviews and Quality Risk Assessments (QRA). Manage supplier quality performance and resolve issues using Supplier Quality Plan (SQP) management, PIQ/PPM metrics, and other relevant tools. Address and resolve current product management (CPM) issues. Ensure proper use of nonconformity containment tools, such as CSL1/2/3 (Containment Shipping Levels), and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing supplier compliance. Apply advanced problem-solving techniques at supplier sites, including 8D, Ishikawa, and Pareto diagrams.
