We are seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Community Development department in Springfield, MA and work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, mixed-use commercial/residential, educational facilities, permitting, and more. Key Responsibilities Detailed site design (layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment controls) Assist in the preparation of site plans and details Design stormwater management systems Conduct field work Oversee construction activities Assist in report and permit writing activities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Typically requires 0-2 years' relevant experience; internship experience will be considered in lieu of relevant work experience Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience with construction oversight is a plus! EIT registration preferred Proficiency using AutoCAD and Microstation; HydroCAD experience a plus!
