Job Type Full-time Description WE ARE GROWING, AND WANT YOU TO COME GROW WITH US!! Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods. Responsible for reviewing and implementing the fabrication and installation of carbon and stainless-steel pipe. Responsible for developing and reviewing all weld procedures to ensure ASME standard and code compliance. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs. Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Determines the development or purchase of capital equipment. Implementation of new technology, including software and training of new operators Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services. Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians. Ensures safety designed into all processes and implements safety corrective actions required to eliminate safety risks. Develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems. Directing and coordinating production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance processes Creating project specifications and detailed plans. Requirements Experienced in ASME Section IX B31 required. In-Depth knowledge of ASME piping standards. AWS certification preferred. BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience. Experience with existing and new technology of fabrication equipment Experience using CAD or CAM software. Experience in creating fabrication drawings from engineering concepts. Strong analytical skills to develop manufacturing processes and operating procedures. Fluent knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Machining, assembly, and quality control processes. Must have industry knowledge as well as code and regulation understanding of ASME welding standards and codes among others. Must be trained in welding both Carbon and Stainless-Steel pipe. Strong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes. Strong interpersonal skills. Extensive PC Skills: Office 365 Requires cross functional communication, simultaneous engineering, and reporting. Demonstrated understanding of inspection tools, techniques and their application to engineering requirements.
