TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Business Analyst. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable extensions. Note: This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence. SUMMARY The Business Analyst will lead or engage in requirements gathering/JAD sessions and working closely with Project Manager(s), SMEs, Vendor and Business Users. RESPONSIBILITIES Define and document requirements and use cases comprehensively. Troubleshoot application and/or interface issues as they arise. Address reporting issues through effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with the user community and vendors to ensure adherence to implementation timelines. Support application/project go-live. Demonstrate a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e., Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process). Gathering detailed requirements that completely define the project. Develop high-level models and user prototypes to identify and validate business processes and solutions as needed. Facilitate reviews, approvals, and sign-off sessions for business and functional requirements. Oversee and coordinate end-user testing activities. Strong communication skills. Initiate and manage workflows for reviewing and approving deliverable documents and communications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables. Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, SharePoint and Visio). 5+ years working in a Business Analyst position. Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements; determining business solutions and verifying solutions meet requirements. Strong understanding of SDLC methodology. Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction. Relationship management and facilitation skills. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient problem-solving skills. Strong decision-making ability. Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Kentucky Healthcare Programs (i.e., Medicaid). An understanding of healthcare enterprise systems (including, but not limited to claims, finance, members, providers), with the ability to understand and communicate from a business and technical perspective. 5+ years working in a Business Analyst position for a large-scale IT system. Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification (CBAP).
