Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Responsibilities: í¢â‚¬¢ Perform patient care efficiently and effectively through practice and communication with patients and other staff í¢â‚¬¢ Provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering patients í¢â‚¬¢ Assess patient condition, administer medication, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education í¢â‚¬¢ Coordinate care plans for patients to ensure the best outcomes í¢â‚¬¢ Follow policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures í¢â‚¬¢ Work independently under supervision to implement care goals for patients í¢â‚¬¢ Competently assess the patient on a regular basis í¢â‚¬¢ Fulfill all other responsibilities as needed í¢â‚¬¢ Be motivated and seek opportunities for career growth í¢â‚¬¢ Maintain excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families License/Certification: í¢â‚¬¢ AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers í¢â‚¬¢ BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure Work Experience: í¢â‚¬¢ At least 2 years of experience Job Details: í¢â‚¬¢ Oncology experience preferred but not required í¢â‚¬¢ 36 hours; day/night rotating schedule, EOW, EOH í¢â‚¬¢ Travel experience required Certification: Basic Life Support
