Were looking to hire a Help Desk Representative for a leading tech services company. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on cutting-edge IT support and security solutions. Youll join the IT Department to provide technical leadership and ensure the efficient resolution of complex desktop, laptop, and software issues while implementing critical security measures. This is a full-time 3 month contract with the possibility of extension opportunity. The role is located in Allen, TX, and is fully on-site. About the Role: Help Desk Representative Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to resolve technical issues. Propose and implement innovative solutions for complex IT challenges. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members on escalated support cases. Respond to incident and support requests through multiple channels (voice, tickets, email, walk-ups). Engineer, implement, and monitor security protocols for systems and networks. Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and reports on security incidents. Qualifications: Help Desk Representative Requirements: 2-5 years of experience in IT support, security, and helpdesk roles. Expertise in IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, and Group Policy. Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience handling escalated technical issues. Proficiency in desktop support for Windows environments and mobile devices. Hands-on experience in security tools, process automation, and vulnerability mitigation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
