Join Our Team as a full time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Hayward, CA! Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team! Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Hayward Senior Village, our 151-unit senior residential community located in Hayward, CA 94541. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00an-5:00pm, with a one hour lunch break daily. Weekend on-call/rotation will also be required. Schedule will be discussed during interview process. Key Qualifications: EPA I & II or EPA Universal is highly preferred for this position. If you are not EPA I & II certified, Richman Property Services, may be able to sponsor (and pay) for your EPA certification within your first 75-days of hire! Candidates that possess a high level of resident relations, eye for curb-appeal, and an overall positive mindset Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus Candidates with experience using Yardi property management software programs What we Offer : Excellent base hourly pay ($24-$25 per hour), depending on experience Automatic Quarterly Pay increases (hourly pay raises every three months)! Responsibilities: Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Skills & Certifications: EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes Benefits: Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Automatic quarterly pay increases after initial 90-day probationary period Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan with employer match of $0.50 for every $1.00 up to 6% Opportunities for student loan repayments and tuition reimbursement Paid sick time, vacation time, and opportunities for career advancement Join Our Team: If you're seeking a rewarding career opportunity with one of the top Property Management organizations in the country, we want to hear from you!
