SUMMARY: The role of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to maintain and develop client's current and future market segments. This role will primarily focus on client's Industrial Process Markets (See Map). The successful candidate will have a proven Sales, Business Development, and Key Account track record working for an Industrial Instrumentation company. In addition, the individual will be a hunter vs. a farmer who enjoys exploring new opportunities and market niches. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage key accounts Acquire & develop new customers / key accounts Drive sales growth Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans Manage reps and distributors within assigned territory Identify and penetrate new market segments & applications Provide monthly sales forecasts Communicate macro market trends Be accountable for delivering the agreed-upon budget/plan sales/order number Develop marketing collateral. For example : - Training presentations (internal/customer/rep) - Application presentations, etc. Define and develop specific market opportunities Minimum of 50% travel (domestic) Other duties may be assigned.
