Process Engineer II

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Process Engineer II for a Denmark based pharmaceutical organization that produces products for the needs of patients with unmet chronic diseases. The Process Engineer II will get to join a global network of manufacturing professionals to i mprove system & equipment reliability. This is a Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 position located in the greater Raleigh, NC area. Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II: Improve system and equipment reliability to meet business and regulatory requirements Lead cross functional process improvements Support technical development of Process Maintenance Techs and Area Specialists Participate in process improvement projects, remain hands on with engineering tools that define that new processes, and carry these out for long-term Improve the performance of an existing process or set of systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools Develop and manage project budgets for improvements of processes and systems Participate in event response activities Qualifications of the Process Engineer II : B.S. and 5 - 8 years of industry engineering experience Experience in Instrumentation and Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Root Cause, Process Improvement Methodologies, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Experience in Maintenance, Design, Process Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies Compensation of the Process Engineer II: Salary: $90,000-$130,000 Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Key Words: Process engineer, engineering, electrical, mechanical, control, SCADA, PLCSs, cLEAN, six sigma, RCM, troubleshoot, industry, root cause analysis #LI-KI1 #LI-ONSITE
