Overview: The BRI Center for Interventional Immunology (CII) is seeking a temporary Office Assistant. Our team includes scientific and clinical investigators, and experienced clinical and project management staff that support our studies. Together, we design, perform, and analyze data from clinical research studies that aim to better understand the drivers and consequences of immune-mediated disease, especially type 1 diabetes. To be considered for this position the applicant must be a student with a completed financial aid application and work study award. Proof of work study eligibility is necessary to complete this application. Responsibilities: The duties for this position will include general filing and records reconciliation and archiving, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and basic office and administrative support. The position may involve scheduling/attending meetings and note-taking. Will require completion of CITI Ethics training. Qualifications: This position is solely open to candidates who are work-study eligible. MS Office Suite Advanced proficiency Excel a plus Ability to create documents, spreadsheets and perform data entry / validation Excellent verbal, written and grammatical skills with attention to detail, follow-through, and good organizational skills Comfortable working with and willingness to learn new tasks Ability and interest to work independently on daily tasks, ask questions for clarification, and to commit to an agreed-to office schedule Experience working in an office environment preferred but not required Interest in clinical trials and data management a plus Submit your resume with a personalized cover letter detailing your qualifications, relevant experiences, and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
