Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative - Floater Duration: 2 months contract Location: Nashville, TN Work Type: Onsite Job Description: Are you a dedicated healthcare professional seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Join our dynamic team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (Floater). As a PSR II, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately drawing blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing. You'll have direct interaction with patients, building trust and confidence while explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Key Responsibilities: Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with patients. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
