Job Summary: The Training Executive is responsible for implementing and managing the corporate training, special events, and retail sales development activities for Shiseido Brand and Fragrance Brands. Responsible for the professional development of selling skills for Beauty Consultants, Fragrance Specialists to deliver brand stories, product benefits and drive retail sales. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Implement all corporate training programs, curriculums, and selling strategies to drive sales and achieve territory sales goals. Achieve individual sales goals. Lead and execute basic, seasonal, and select store training programs. Cultivate brand knowledge, product knowledge, product demonstration, clienteling, and selling skills in line assigned Beauty Consultants, owned staff, freelancers and inter-sell sales associates, Sales and Training Executives, and corporate employees. This includes at-counter makeup, skincare, and fragrance demos and the development of customized demos, sales verbiage, link selling techniques, makeup application tips and tricks, and animation to dovetail with consumer-facing product knowledge content. Partner with Shiseido Education Sr Manager to record educational video content for retailer education platforms and Shiseido Education App. Host video and virtual training formats for blended education programs. Visit stores within their territory based on the Call Cycle visit matrix. Increase sales and service performance in the retail environment. During store visits, check for knowledge retention, coach Beauty Consultants to strengthen skills, and reinforce focuses and objectives. Coach Beauty Consultants and Fragrance Specialists in the successful execution of marketing programs and promotions. Coach behaviors that represent the brand image and philosophies. Provide feedback on Call Cycle visits to the Corporate Education Team and identify opportunities to develop programs for business needs. Master Shiseido Facial Massage and Yutaka Massage techniques. Develop and train Account Coordinators and Beauty Consultants to achieve certification of Shiseido Facial Massage. Host masterclasses, events, and retail-based in-store animation. Host Facebook live and other Ecom Livestreaming/Live shopping event formats Train and share best practices for leading successful Masterclasses. Motivate the Sales and Training Executives, Account Coordinators and Beauty Consultants to program and execute Masterclasses and at-counter animations in all regions to drive sales while promoting a consistent curriculum developed by the Education Team. Represent the brands at retailer-specific training formats such as ND Beauty/Fragrance Stylist Summit, Qualfon, Ulta Round Robins, Amazon trainings, retailer Skincare Bonus and launch kickoff calls, and other as-needed projects. Customize and tailor training for each audience and motivate them to be brand ambassadors. Act as brand ambassador in sharing the culture, values, and heritage of the brand in the portfolio across a variety of initiatives. Attend National Training Conferences 2x year and US/Regional Commercials Sales meetings when requested. Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with Regional Directors and Sales and Training Executives to establish seasonal Education and Coaching priorities and market opportunities. Partner with STEs to disseminate training directives to all covered accounts/stores within the US retailer channels. Record educational video content under the direction of the Shiseido Education Sr Manager for retailer education platforms and the Shiseido Education App. Collaborate with the Events Team to provide feedback and identify opportunities to host best-in-class retailer events. Provide field insight and feedback to the Corporate Education Team on the execution of training, marketing, and event programs. Identify POS/CRM opportunities and partner with the Director of Training and Education to develop programs to support business needs. Collaborate with NYO office teams (Events, Training & Education, Marketing, PR, etc.) to execute Special Events and retailer-exclusive events. When requested, assist field teams in the recruiting, hiring, and interview process of new BCs or BAs. Train and onboard all new BCs, FSs, or BAs. Financial Accountability Achieve regional and individual sales goals. Ability to manage, forecast, and adhere to a given Training and Travel & Expense budget. Qualifications & Competencies: Minimum of 3 years prestige skincare, makeup & fragrance training/education experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Highly skilled presenter. Excellent Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on PowerPoint Excellent Audio-Visual equipment operating skills Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the corporation and retail partners.
