Key Attributes of Ideal Candidate Encourages innovation without compromising client needs or work quality Possesses a "listen-first" mentality Strives to strengthen client and project management skills Successful in leading water and/or wastewater projects Enjoys contributing to the overall success of a team through guidance, mentoring, and leadership Responsibilities Provide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors Provide professional services for the design and construction of water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities Work within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, and architectural aspects Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work Assist Project Manager in maintaining budgets and schedules of project assignments and in maintaining quality client relationships and communication Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team members Gather critical data to assist clients with project financing and funding development Qualifications Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field Fundamentals in Engineering (EIT) certified Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgement and aptitude among peers, management, and staff All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering Five (5) years of related experience Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 12 months Proficient with Civil 3D, ESRI Products, and/or hydraulic or process modeling software Design work and knowledge with water supply, water resources, drinking water and wastewater treatment and collection systems, utility planning, and other municipal vertical and horizontal infrastructure Experience leading both internal initiatives and external projects Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Location Denver, CO - Englewood, CO 80112 US (Primary) Education Bachelor Degree Position Type Full-time
