As a Warehouse Driver at Dnata Catering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aviation catering company. Your primary responsibility will be to safely transport goods and materials between the warehouse and various locations. You will also be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining accurate inventory records, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers. Accepting applications until: You Will ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that items are properly secured and handled with care. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Maintain accurate records of inventory, including quantities, locations, and any discrepancies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth operations. Responsible for completing all HACCP forms. Assist with general warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during operations. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations. Keep updated with relevant industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned by management. The salary range for this role is $25.00 an hour and is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, we take into account various factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience as part of the overall compensation package. You Have QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year Experience working in a Warehouse/Airline catering environment. A Valid CDL Driver's License (Class B with Airbreaks endorsment) Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse driver is preferred. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations. Must be able to read and write in English. Excellent driving skills and ability to operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required. Intellectual/Social demands: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds.
