Job Summary: NextGen Car Care is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Automotive Service Manager to join our team at our Clinton, New York location. As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our service department, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction while maximizing profitability. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the fast-paced and ever-evolving automotive industry. The compensation for this position is a competitive salary of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, paid weekly. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year - Paid weekly - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off - Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and advance career - Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a supportive team Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management - Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty - Manage and monitor service department performance to meet and exceed established targets for sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction - Ensure accurate and timely completion of all repair and maintenance work, adhering to company standards and industry regulations - Train, develop, and mentor service technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficiency in completing repairs and maintenance - Monitor and control inventory levels and expenses to ensure profitability - Stay informed and up-to-date on industry developments and changes in technology and share knowledge with team members and customers - Drive sales and improve service department profitability through effective marketing and customer outreach strategies - Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations - Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations - Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management, with a proven track record of success - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service and sales skills - Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures - Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and software - Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Must be willing to work weekends and extended hours, as needed EEOC Statement: NextGen Car Care is an equal opportunity employer.
