Job Description has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Senior Controls Engineer with a reputable Client in Wilmington, MA. This position is full-time, hybrid work arrangement, and it requires 3 days a week on site at Client's location in Wilmington, MA. **Join our direct "Client" as a Senior Controls Engineer !** **Location:** Wilmington, MA **Salary Range:** $131,000 - $140,000 Are you a seasoned controls engineer ready to lead innovation in industrial automation? Our Client's Wilmington, MA office is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to take charge of cutting-edge projects. **Responsibilities:** As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll lead the charge in delivering innovative automation solutions. Your role includes system architecture design, component selection, schematic diagrams, controller programming, HMI/SCADA development, and more. You'll also manage project execution, budgets, and team coordination. The ideal candidate must have a diverse engineering skill-set with the ability to work independently. Will act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers and technicians. Could also act as a Project Manager on smaller projects. **Qualifications:** - Technical expertise and independence - Team leadership experience - Knowledge of IT/OT networking - Excellent communication and technical writing skills - Professional references from subordinates, peers, and managers **Education** - A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science is required. **Working Conditions:** - Hybrid work arrangement and requires 3 days a week on site - Office and industrial environments - Frequent computer use Requirements **Key Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science - 10+ years of experience in PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA platforms - Proficiency in Ignition and Rockwell - In-depth knowledge of life science industry regulations (cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11) - Proven track record in all project phases, from concept to commissioning - Strong grasp of S88 Batch, GAMP5, and validation processes - Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and various automation protocols - Bonus: AutoCAD skills and electrical schematic familiarity **Travel:** Up to 25% **Physical Demands:** - Visual acuity, color perception, and clear speech - Manual dexterity - Driving and equipment handling Benefits Join our Client's employee-owned company with a rich history of successful projects in the United States and abroad.
