Our client in Gonzales, LA is looking for a few Hand-lancing/Hydro-blasting Project Manager Position Summary Responsible for efficiently managing on-site projects by acting as a liaison between customers and on-site supervisor to meet job requirements. This position requires maintaining, executing, and submitting customer paperwork within timeframes and directing crews in meeting optimal operating performance. In addition to maintaining field customer relationships, Project Managers are also accountable for the safety of crew members and troubleshooting obstacles that could cause job delays or performance issues. Essential Functions and Responsibilities - Manage/lead field supervisors at industrial (primarily petrochemical) sites to meet schedule and customer objectives. - Responsible for all personnel working on-site and overall project performance. - Ensures all customer-required paperwork is correct and complete. - Ensures work is performed safely, correctly, and efficiently per and customer policies, procedures, and best practices. - Communicate with customers and site contacts regarding job progress, site requirements, and potential issues. - Maintains open Operations, Office Manager, and Equipment Manager to ensure the correct equipment is available and in good working order for each project. - Perform walk-downs and attend pre-job meetings to determine job scope in plants and refineries as required. - Identify and prepare for a variety of cleaning methods - Preparation includes scheduling, staffing, and equipment requirements. Job Requirements Skills - Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and/or priorities, and easily adapt to changing situations. - Ability to instruct/train/mentor proactively and efficiently. - Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees. - Strong leadership abilities with 3-4 years prior supervisory experience. - Exercises sound judgment to ensure safety & operational aspects of job are properly implemented. - Sound knowledge of motors/pumps and high-tech equipment. - This position requires a highly organized individual who is self-motivated with the ability to motivate others. Attributes - The ability to communicate, listen, and understand information and direction through spoken words and sentences. - Written Comprehension & Expression - The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction and the ability to deal with problems ***Candidates with "unescorted access" to a Nuclear Power Plant within the last 365 days and have high-pressure pump operator experience (20K PSI or higher) move to the front of the line***
