COMPANY : Leading FMCG company DESIGNATION : Head of Business Unit LOCATION : Asia SALARY : Open to discuss (USD) + Benefits OVERVIEW: Our client is a leading FMCG Company seeking for a strategic and results-oriented Head of Business Unit to lead their consumer operations and drive business growth. This role will be responsible for overseeing all consumer-facing activities, developing strategies to expand the customer base, and ensuring that the consumer experience aligns with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer engagement, sales, and marketing, with the ability to turn insights into actionable business growth initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Growth Leadership : Develop and implement consumer strategies that directly contribute to revenue growth, market expansion, and business development. Consumer Strategy Development : Lead the creation of a comprehensive consumer strategy focused on customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value to drive business success. Sales and Marketing Integration : Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns that attract and retain consumers while delivering measurable business results. Customer Insights & Data-Driven Decisions : Leverage consumer data and market insights to inform decisions, identify growth opportunities, and optimize performance across all consumer channels. Consumer Experience Excellence : Ensure that every touchpoint across the consumer journey meets the highest standards of service, satisfaction, and brand alignment, driving loyalty and repeat business. Product and Service Innovation : Collaborate with product development teams to align consumer needs with product offerings, continuously innovating to meet evolving market demands. Revenue and Profitability Targets : Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to consumer engagement, revenue growth, and profitability. Brand Management : Ensure that the brand is positioned effectively in the market to attract the right consumer base and differentiate from competitors. Leadership & Team Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing consumer team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Market Expansion : Identify new markets, product opportunities, and business models to accelerate growth, driving both domestic and international expansion where applicable. Performance Tracking & Reporting : Continuously monitor and report on consumer initiatives' performance, adjusting strategies to maximize results and presenting updates to senior leadership. PRE - REQUISITES : Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience : 10-15 years of experience in consumer-focused roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth through consumer engagement and sales strategies. Leadership Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, leading cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, branding and consumer operations
