Defines and documents system scope and objectives based on knowledge of the clinical systems and user needs. Develops system specifications, performs system design across a variety of applications, and executes system test plans. Anticipates problems, provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities, and presents the solution to the clinical partners. Manages components of medium to large size, complex clinical system projects, provides mentoring of systems analysts, and provides support of others on clinical system projects. Develops detailed system selection criteria based on functional and technical requirements. Builds relationships with the clinical partners (physicians, nurses, technologists and other care givers) and presents ideas clearly and concisely. Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field / clinical specialty (Required) Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience 3 Years' experience in an acute care setting (Required) 5 Years experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or project life cycle (PLC) (Required) 5 Years' experience of which 3 are in the healthcare field (Required) General Experience with a variety of health care clinical interface standards such as HL7, DICOM (Preferred) General Experience with health care clinical systems such as GE, McKesson, Siemens (Preferred) General Experience with large, complex health care implementations (Preferred) _ Your Tomorrow is Here!
