Join our dedicated Mobile Crisis Outreach Team at the Wasatch County Family Clinic in Heber, Utah as a Peer Support Specialist and make a real impact in your community. Funded by the state and dispatched by local 911 and the state 988 mental health crisis line, our team provides crucial support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in Summit County and Wasatch County. This is a grant funded contracted on-call position that has been funded through June 30 2025. Depending on funding availability as well as the other factors there may be an ability to extend the contract into future years Essential Functions (Performs all or some of the following) As a Therapist with our Mobile Crisis Center in Heber, Utah, you will play a vital role in responding to crisis situations with compassion and providing essential interventions to individuals in need. Collaborating closely with law enforcement, your expertise in mental health will be invaluable in ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved. By offering direct and indirect clinical services, developing client treatment programs, and conducting individual, family, and group psychotherapy for various behavioral health disorders, personal challenges, and more, you will make a significant impact on the lives of those seeking support. Additionally, your participation in family-team meetings and contribution to permanency plans will further enhance your role in guiding clients towards recovery and stability. Schedule: Weekend On Call - Coverage is required for 24 hours on Saturday (11pm Friday to 11pm Saturday) and 24 hours on Sunday (11pm Saturday to 11pm Sunday) Weekday On Call - Contracted coverage is needed for regular staff absences due to sickness or vacation Shifts include Day (8am to 5pm), Swing (3pm tp 11pm), and Night (11pm to 8am). Compensation: The contracted arrangement is as follows Weekend: $200 stipend for a 24 on call shift. $200 for every in person call out that occurs Weekday: $75 dollar stipend for 8 hour shift, $200 for every in person call out that occurs Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a college or university with a Master's degree in social work, psychology or a related field and: Fully Licensed Therapist recognition in the State of Utah as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
